Auto Care Association Expands Training on Data Standards

The Auto Care Association hosted two day-long ACES and PIES training sessions in Mexico and Brazil. These sessions supported the association’s ongoing efforts to expand education on data standards in Latin America.

Training in Mexico Focused on Data Standards

On July 22, the association conducted a full-day training session in Mexico City, Mexico. The session focused on the ACES and PIES data standards. Trainers delivered the program in Spanish. They highlighted that more than 99% of automotive vehicle coverage is now accessible through VCdb. Spanish translations for VCdb, PCdb, PAdb and Qdb have reached nearly 90%.

Brazil Session Delivered in Portuguese

On Sept. 10, the association conducted a parallel training session in São Paulo, Brazil. Trainers delivered the full-day program in Portuguese. Similar to Mexico, vehicle coverage has reached 99%. Portuguese translations for VCdb, PCdb, PAdb, and Qdb now stand at 90%.

Motorcycle Coverage Expansion Coming

The Auto Care Association announced that expanded motorcycle coverage will be available in October 2025.
